About Ollie

Ollie is an incredibly sweet boy who had a rough start early in life with significant upper respiratory symptoms. While he is doing well overall, he does continue to sound somewhat congested at times, and there is a possibility he could have ongoing nasal issues as he grows. Ollie is currently smaller than we would typically expect for a Maine Coon at this stage, however he is steadily gaining weight, eating well, playful, affectionate, and otherwise acting like a normal happy kitten. At this stage, we cannot predict with certainty what his long-term outcome will be. Our hope is that as he matures and his nasal passages grow, his symptoms may improve, however we want to be fully transparent that future veterinary care or chronic congestion could still be possible. Because of this uncertainty, Ollie is being placed at a reduced rate to a carefully chosen home that understands his history and is comfortable taking on the possibility of additional care needs in the future. What matters most to us is finding a loving, understanding family committed to giving him an amazing life regardless of what the future holds. He truly is a special little boy with so much love to give.
